DrawSomething Artwork
April 14, 2012
I was first introduced to this illustrated word game app DrawSomething when a friend asked me to play. In a matter of weeks I had 20 games going at once. As I earned enough coins to purchase more colors, I decided to have a little more fun with the artwork. Using my finger and playing solely on the iPhone, I've created the above pieces.
GrindMedia.com Site Design
November 15, 2011
After Source Interlink purchased GrindNetworks, it became necesarry to re-brand GrindNetworks to GrindMedia. My roll in this process was to come up with a look and feel for the new website and employee business cards. The logo itself was designed internally by another employee.
MSN's The Bubble 2011 Redesign
November 7, 2011
Although the initial design in 2010 was a novel interface which housed videos in bubbles as they bubbled up endlessly from the bottom of the site, it lacked in practicality. Working with a modest team, we were able to achieve that goal for the 2011 redesign.

The Bubble, MSN's new comedy portal offers a new way of discovering, enjoying and sharing comedy content online. MSN has partnered with Grind Networks to produce the site, which feature 9 original comedy pilots, as well as lots of comedy content.

After taking the advice of a couple of friends, I've decided to create a dedicated website for my comic series "Life Loosely Based". This is the first site I've created utilizing the Facebook like button. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do making them!

Project Showcase: Invoice 365.com
May 19, 2011
To make billing clients easier on myself and others like me, I created Invoice365.com, a website where anyone looking for a simple online invoicing application can set up an account and use for free.

This is not a money-making venture by any stretch and probably won’t ever be. If my project had to pay me minimum wage, I’d be owed a couple thousand dollars. It’s solely about me scratching my itch to make and own something, while doing some good in my industry.

I found it took me a little over 4months to go live while maintaining a full time job. I continue to improve upon the interface and add features as this is an ongoing project. I find I learn more in a self-driven project than on almost any client project I’ve ever done. And now I can take those things I learned back to my day job.
Web 2 Mobile - Simulated iPhone browser for your desktop
April 5, 2011
I've been working on a lot of mobile apps and sites lately and came up with this handy tool that helps me see how the site works and looks in a simulated phone environment.

This simulator is for layout only and is not an accurate depiction of pixel density as different smart phones come with varying resolutions.

Last week I decided to try my hand with acrylics at the Paint Lab in Santa Monica. It was my first attempt so I wanted to paint something that didn’t have complex shapes but offered the opportunity to mix lots of colors together. I found a sunset picture on Google as a source of inspiration.
