Pixel Pooches
Created pixel art of French Bulldogs in various costumes and colors. These are the initial batch of illustrations I designed.
As the collection grew, I wanted to be able to cross-over elements from one style to another to create unique combinations. As a result, I quickly realized that turning on and off 100+ layers to create new character combinations would be extremely time consuming and that automating the randomization would not only save me time, but allow me to see combinations I'd never thought of.
I developed an object randomizer in Unity. Since all of the art objects were created in Photoshop (jackets, hats, glasses, body colors, etc.), it became increasingly harder to view all of the varying combinations efficiently. I needed a solution that would be quicker than turning on and off hundreds of layers one at a time for a different character look.
So I turned to Unity and C# to construct a utility that would assist in creating randomized art at the tap of a button.
